HISTORY OF ART HOTELS
“Art Hotel” has an amazing story to tell. A long time ago, in 1953, well-respected doctor from Dubrovnik started to create this building in order to open a medical retreat. Him and his family saw a huge potential in this venue, rich in fresh air, surrounded by pine trees and slightly hidden from the public eye. It was a perfect place for a peaceful retreat in nature.
Unfortunately, a war hardship made them sell still unfinished building to another company and the retreat never came to life.
Nevertheless, company recreated this venue into vacation spot for their employees, and they have enjoyed sun, sea and nature every year until the 1991.
Since 1991 until the Present, this building was completely out of any meaningful purpose.
Luckily, in 2019, we have imagined this hotel to be a small private oasis, surrounded by nature, where people will come to rest and charge their batteries in a friendly atmosphere. A place where everyone will feel like at home away from home.
In 2020, we will create a new part of a history, together with you.
